# Dext

AccessOwl integrates with Dext to provision and deprovision user access in your Dext practice.

## Capabilities

    AccessOwl creates user accounts with the specified roles/permissions during access requests.

    AccessOwl deactivates members from the Dext practice during access revocations.

## Prerequisites

* **Practice Admin** access to your Dext practice, so you can invite the integration account.

## Setup

  <Step title="Add Dext in AccessOwl">
    Either add a new application or open Applications and click the +-symbol, then continue.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Invite the integration account as Practice Admin">
    AccessOwl shows you the integration account's email address. In Dext:

    * Open your practice's **Team > Colleagues** page.
    * Click **Add a colleague**.
    * Enter the integration account's first name, last name, and email address, then click **Next**.
    * Set the role to **Practice Admin**.
    * Click **Add** to send the invitation.
