## Prerequisites

* **Admin** access to your incident.io organization, so you can invite the integration account.

## Setup

<Steps>
  <Step title="Add incident.io in AccessOwl">
    Either add a new application or open Applications and click the +-symbol, then continue.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Invite the integration account as Admin">
    AccessOwl shows you the integration account's email address. In incident.io:

    * Go to **Settings** > **Users**.
    * Click **Invite user**.
    * Enter the integration account's email address.
    * Set the role to **Admin**.
    * Send the invite.

    <Note>
      The integration account needs the Admin role because only Admins have the Manage users permission by default. This permission is required to invite new members and deactivate existing ones. Standard users cannot perform these actions.

      In incident.io, seats are consumed as soon as an invite is sent, not after the invitee accepts.
    </Note>
  </Step>
