# Windsor.ai

AccessOwl integrates with Windsor.ai to provision and deprovision user access in your Windsor.ai team.

<Warning>
  The Windsor.ai integration requires a paid Windsor.ai plan. The free plan and the free trial include only 1 user, so you cannot invite the integration account on them. You can still add Windsor.ai to AccessOwl without the integration, and access requests go to the [Application Admin](/guides/applications/admins-owners) to complete in Windsor.ai.
</Warning>

## Prerequisites

* A paid Windsor.ai plan.
* **Team owner** access in Windsor.ai, so you can invite the integration account and make it a team owner.

## Setup

<Steps>
  <Step title="Add Windsor.ai in AccessOwl">
    Either add a new application or open Applications and click the +-symbol, then continue.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Invite the integration account as Team owner">
    AccessOwl shows you the integration account's email address. In Windsor.ai:

    * Open the account menu in the top-right corner and select **Settings**.
    * Click the **Team** tab.
    * Click **Invite team member**.
    * Enter the integration account's email address and click **Send invitation**.
    * Once the integration account appears under **Team Members**, give it the **Team owner** role.

    <Note>
      The integration account needs the Team owner role because in Windsor.ai the team owner is the role that manages team members. New team members join with the team member role by default.
    </Note>
  </Step>
