Every user can sign into AccessOwl. Users without a specific role will see only the App Hub. Others can access it through an icon in the top header.
What you can do
- Quick Access – Recently used apps are visible at the very top. Click on it launches the app.
- Search and filter – Find apps in seconds using search or filters.
- See your access – View exactly which apps you have access to including your permission level.
- Find app admins – Instantly know who the app admin is for any application.
- Request access – Discover company apps and request access directly, without leaving the web interface.
- Track your requests – See all your access requests under My Requests. Each request shows every step of its approval chain, who the approvers on each step are, and which step it is currently sitting at, so you know who to reach out to if a request is stuck.

Can users request an app that is not in the App Hub?
Can users request an app that is not in the App Hub?
The App Hub lists the applications your organization already manages, and access requests only reach those, so there is no way to ask for a SaaS app that is not in your inventory. To make a new app requestable, an Org Admin adds it on the Applications page, either from the built-in catalog or as a custom application. Once it’s added, it appears in the App Hub for everyone. If the app needs an integration AccessOwl does not offer yet, contact AccessOwl.Your own internal or in-house tools are the exception. When one of those is missing from the request form, you get an Enter new application option that adds it as a custom application so it can be requested. See Access Requests.
