What is a Business Owner?
Each application in AccessOwl has exactly one Business Owner. You are typically a team lead who oversees the app’s budget and approvals rather than its day-to-day operations. As the Business Owner you:- are responsible for spend management of your application
- can be assigned as a dedicated approver in the app’s approval policies
- can serve as a reviewer in access reviews for the app
If your application has no Application Admin assigned, you also receive its provisioning and deprovisioning requests until one is added.
What you have access to
In the AccessOwl web interface you can view your owned applications and their data, add spend data for them, and request or revoke access like any other user. The exact permissions are listed in the AccessOwl Roles matrix.What you’ll be asked to do
