AccessOwl integrates with Vercel to provision and deprovision user access in your Vercel team.

Capabilities

Provisioning

AccessOwl creates user accounts with the specified roles/permissions during access requests.

Deprovisioning

AccessOwl removes members from the Vercel team during access revocations.

Prerequisites

  • Owner access to your Vercel team, so you can invite the integration account.

Setup

1

Add Vercel in AccessOwl

Either add a new application or open Applications and click the +-symbol, then continue.
2

Invite the integration account as Owner

AccessOwl shows you the integration account’s email address. In Vercel:
  • From your dashboard, select your team from the team switcher.
  • Open Settings in the sidebar and go to Members.
  • Enter the integration account’s email address, set the role to Owner, and click Invite.
The integration account requires the Owner role because only Owners can invite new members and remove existing ones from a Vercel team.

FAQ

Vercel does not immediately add invited members to the team. When AccessOwl provisions a user, the integration account sends them an invite email, but the user only appears in your Vercel Members list after they accept that invite. Pending invites are visible under the Pending Invitations section in the sidebar. If a provisioning request shows as completed in AccessOwl but the user is not yet visible in Vercel, they haven’t accepted the invite yet. Invites expire after 7 days.
