AccessOwl creates user accounts with the specified roles during access requests.

AccessOwl removes users from your Postman team during access revocations.

Prerequisites

  • Admin or Super Admin access in your Postman team, so you can invite the integration account.

Setup

Add Postman in AccessOwl

Either add a new application or open Applications and click the +-symbol, then continue.

Invite the integration account as Admin

AccessOwl shows you the integration account’s email address. In Postman:
  • Click your profile icon in the top-right corner and select your organization name.
  • In the settings page, click Members in the left sidebar.
  • Click Invite People and enter the integration account’s email address.
  • Use the Roles dropdown to assign the Admin role.
  • Click Send Invite.
The integration account needs the Admin role so it can invite and remove team members on behalf of AccessOwl. Admin-only users do not consume a paid Developer seat in Postman.
