AccessOwl integrates with ClickUp to provision and deprovision user access in your ClickUp Workspace.

Provisioning

AccessOwl creates user accounts with the specified roles/permissions during access requests.

Deprovisioning

AccessOwl removes members from your ClickUp Workspace during access revocations.

Prerequisites

  • Admin access to your ClickUp Workspace, so you can invite the integration account.

Setup

Add ClickUp in AccessOwl

Either add a new application or open Applications and click the +-symbol, then continue.

Invite the integration account as Admin

AccessOwl shows you the integration account’s email address. In ClickUp:
  • In the upper-left corner, click your Workspace avatar and select People.
  • On the Manage people page, enter the integration account’s email address in the Invite by email field.
  • Click Invite people.
  • In the Role column next to the integration account, set the role to Admin.
The integration account needs the Admin role because only Workspace owners and admins can invite and remove members in ClickUp.
