AccessOwl creates user accounts with the specified roles/permissions during access requests.

Deprovisioning

AccessOwl removes members from the GitBook organization during access revocations.

Prerequisites

Administrator access to your GitBook organization, so you can invite the integration account.

Setup

Add GitBook in AccessOwl

Either add a new application or open Applications and click the +-symbol, then continue.

Invite the integration account as Administrator

AccessOwl shows you the integration account’s email address. In GitBook:

Open your organization’s Settings.
Go to the Members section.
Click Invite new members.
Enter the integration account’s email address.
Set the role to Administrator.
Send the invite.

Administrator is the only role with the permissions required to invite and remove members on behalf of AccessOwl.
