AccessOwl integrates with Help Scout to provision and deprovision user access in your Help Scout account.

Provisioning

AccessOwl creates user accounts with the specified roles/permissions during access requests.

Deprovisioning

AccessOwl deletes members from Help Scout during access revocations.

Prerequisites

  • Administrator access to your Help Scout account, so you can invite the integration account.

Setup

Add Help Scout in AccessOwl

Either add a new application or open Applications and click the +-symbol, then continue.

Invite the integration account as Administrator

AccessOwl shows you the integration account’s email address. In Help Scout:
  • Go to Manage > Users.
  • Click Add User.
  • Enter the integration account’s email address and name.
  • Set the Role to Administrator.
  • Click Create User to send the invite.
