Provisioning

AccessOwl creates user accounts with the specified roles/permissions during access requests.

Deprovisioning

AccessOwl disables users in your Snowflake account during access revocations.

Prerequisites

  • ORGADMIN access to your Snowflake account, so you can create the integration account.

Setup

Add Snowflake in AccessOwl

Either add a new application or open Applications and click the +-symbol, then continue.

Create the integration account with the ORGADMIN role

AccessOwl shows you the integration account’s email address. In Snowsight:
  • Go to Governance & security > Users & roles.
  • Click + User.
  • Enter the integration account’s email address and set a password.
  • Grant the ORGADMIN role to the account.
  • Click Create User.
The integration account needs the ORGADMIN role to create and disable users on behalf of AccessOwl.
