Provisioning
AccessOwl creates user accounts with the specified roles/permissions during access requests.
Deprovisioning
AccessOwl removes members from the Cypress organization during access revocations.
Prerequisites
- Org Admin access to your Cypress organization, so you can invite the integration account.
Setup
Add Cypress in AccessOwl
Either add a new application or open Applications and click the +-symbol, then continue.
Invite the integration account as Org Admin
AccessOwl shows you the integration account’s email address. In Cypress:
- Open your organization and go to Users & Teams.
- Click Invite User.
- Enter the integration account’s email address.
- Set the role to Org Admin.
- Click Invite User.
The integration account needs Org Admin because only Org Admins and Org Owners can invite and remove members across the organization. Without this role, the integration account cannot provision or deprovision users.

The user was provisioned but I can't see them in Cypress
When AccessOwl provisions a user, Cypress sends them an invitation email with a link to accept. The user does not appear as an active member in your organization until they accept that invitation. If a provisioning request shows as completed in AccessOwl but the user is not yet visible in Cypress, they have not accepted the invite yet.
