AccessOwl integrates with Retool to provision and deprovision user access in your Retool organization.

Provisioning

AccessOwl creates user accounts with the specified roles/permissions during access requests.

Deprovisioning

AccessOwl disables users in Retool during access revocations.

Prerequisites

  • Admin access to your Retool organization, so you can invite the integration account.

Setup

Add Retool in AccessOwl

Either add a new application or open Applications and click the +-symbol, then continue.

Invite the integration account as Admin

AccessOwl shows you the integration account’s email address. In Retool:
  • Click your avatar in the upper right and open Settings.
  • In the User management section, select Users.
  • Click Invite.
  • Enter the integration account’s email address.
  • Assign the Admin role.
  • Send the invite.
The integration account needs Admin because only Retool organization admins can invite new users and disable existing users. Without this role, the integration account cannot provision or deprovision users.
