Provisioning
AccessOwl creates user accounts with the specified roles/permissions during access requests.
Deprovisioning
AccessOwl deactivates people in Metabase during access revocations.
Prerequisites
- Membership in the Administrators group of your Metabase instance, so you can invite the integration account.
Setup
Add Metabase in AccessOwl
Either add a new application or open Applications and click the +-symbol, then continue.
Invite the integration account as Administrator
AccessOwl shows you the integration account’s email address. In Metabase:
- Open the Admin settings and go to People.
- Click Invite someone in the upper right corner.
- Enter the integration account’s email address.
- After creating the account, add it to the Administrators group.
The integration account needs to be in the Administrators group because only members of that group can access the Admin Panel to create and deactivate people.
