Capabilities
Provisioning
AccessOwl creates user accounts with the specified roles/permissions during access requests.
Deprovisioning
AccessOwl deletes users from your Wrike account during access revocations.
Prerequisites
- Admin access to your Wrike account, so you can invite the integration account.
Setup
Add Wrike in AccessOwl
Either add a new application or open Applications and click the +-symbol, then continue.
Invite the integration account as Admin
AccessOwl shows you the integration account’s email address. In Wrike, go to Settings > Account Management > Users and invite the integration account. Make sure the account is given Admin access, either during the invite or by promoting it afterward.
The integration account needs Admin because only Admins can invite new users and delete users from a Wrike account. Without Admin, the integration account cannot provision or deprovision users.
FAQ
What is the difference between deleting and deactivating a user in Wrike?
What is the difference between deleting and deactivating a user in Wrike?
Wrike supports two ways to remove user access. Deletion is available on all Wrike plans and permanently removes the user from the account. The user cannot be restored after deletion, but you can transfer their work to another user before confirming. Deactivation is only available on Pinnacle and Apex plans. It blocks the user from logging in but keeps their account and data intact so they can be reactivated later. AccessOwl uses deletion during deprovisioning, which is the method available across all Wrike plans.
