Provisioning
AccessOwl creates user accounts with the specified roles/permissions during access requests.
Deprovisioning
AccessOwl deactivates team members in ChartMogul during access revocations.
User Sync
AccessOwl periodically syncs a list of users along with their assigned roles/permissions.
Prerequisites
- Admin access to your ChartMogul account, so you can invite the integration account.
Setup
Add ChartMogul in AccessOwl
Either add a new application or open Applications and click the +-symbol, then continue.
Invite the integration account as Admin
AccessOwl shows you the integration account’s email address. In ChartMogul:
- Go to Settings & Data > Admin > Team Members.
- Click Invite Team Members.
- Enter the integration account’s email address.
- Select the Admin role.
- Click Send Invites.
The integration account needs Admin because only Admins (and Owners) can add, update, and deactivate team members in ChartMogul. The Staff role and below cannot manage team membership, so the integration account would not be able to provision or deprovision users without Admin.

When AccessOwl provisions a user, ChartMogul sends them an invite email. If a provisioning request shows as completed in AccessOwl but the user is not yet active in ChartMogul, they have not accepted the invite yet.
