Provisioning
AccessOwl creates user accounts with the specified roles/permissions during access requests.
Deprovisioning
AccessOwl deletes users from your Semrush account during access revocations.
Prerequisites
- Admin access to your Semrush account, so you can invite the integration account.
Setup
Add Semrush in AccessOwl
Either add a new application or open Applications and click the +-symbol, then continue.
Invite the integration account as Admin
AccessOwl shows you the integration account’s email address. In Semrush:
- Open the User Management page.
- Click Invite users.
- Enter the integration account’s email address.
- Send the invite, then open User Management again, find the integration account, click the edit button, and set its role to Admin.
The integration account needs Admin because only Admins and the account Owner can add and delete users in Semrush. Without Admin, the integration account cannot provision or deprovision users. Adding a user to your Semrush account consumes a paid seat, so your subscription must have an available seat before inviting the integration account.

The user was provisioned but I can't see them in Semrush
When AccessOwl provisions a user, Semrush sends them an invitation email. The user only appears as an active member of your account after they accept that invitation. If a provisioning request shows as completed in AccessOwl but the user is not yet visible in Semrush, they have not accepted the invite yet.
