AccessOwl creates user accounts with the specified roles/permissions during access requests.

Prerequisites

  • Admin access to your monday.com account, so you can invite the integration account.

Setup

Add monday.com in AccessOwl

Either add a new application or open Applications and click the +-symbol, then continue.

Invite the integration account as Admin

AccessOwl shows you the integration account’s email address. In monday.com:
  • Click your profile picture in the top right and open the Administration area.
  • Invite the integration account’s email address as a new user.
  • Set the user type to Admin.
  • Send the invite.
The integration account needs Admin because only admins can invite and deactivate users in monday.com. Members, viewers, and guests cannot manage users.

FAQ

Users invited to monday.com remain in a pending state until they accept the invitation email. They only become active members of your account after accepting.
When a user is deactivated in monday.com, all integrations and automations that user created are deactivated as well. Reassign business-critical automations to another user before revoking access.
