Provisioning

AccessOwl creates user accounts with the specified roles/permissions during access requests.

Deprovisioning

AccessOwl disables membership for users in the Mode workspace during access revocations.

Prerequisites

  • Admin access to your Mode workspace, so you can invite the integration account.

Setup

Add Mode in AccessOwl

Either add a new application or open Applications and click the +-symbol, then continue.

Invite the integration account as Admin

AccessOwl shows you the integration account’s email address. In Mode:
  • Click your name in the upper left corner of the Mode home page.
  • Select Invite to Mode.
  • Enter the integration account’s email address.
  • Send the invite.
Once the invite is accepted, go to Workspace Settings, open the People section, locate the integration account, and promote it to Admin.
Admin access is required so the integration account can invite new members and disable membership for existing ones on behalf of AccessOwl.
