AccessOwl creates user accounts with the specified roles/permissions during access requests.

Deprovisioning

AccessOwl deletes user accounts from your SurveyMonkey team during access revocations.

Prerequisites

  • Admin access to your SurveyMonkey team, so you can invite the integration account.

Setup

Add SurveyMonkey in AccessOwl

Either add a new application or open Applications and click the +-symbol, then continue.

Invite the integration account as Admin

AccessOwl shows you the integration account’s email address. In SurveyMonkey:
  • Go to My Team and open Manage Users.
  • Click + Add User.
  • Select Email and enter the integration account’s email address.
  • Assign the Admin role.
  • Click Send Invitation.
The integration account needs the Admin role because only Admins and Primary Admins can invite users and manage team membership in SurveyMonkey Enterprise.

FAQ

When AccessOwl provisions a user, SurveyMonkey sends them an invitation email. The user appears in your team’s Manage Users list as a pending invite until they accept. If a provisioning request shows as completed in AccessOwl but the user is not yet visible as an active member, they have not accepted the invite yet.
