Provisioning
AccessOwl creates user accounts with the specified roles/permissions during access requests.
Deprovisioning
AccessOwl deletes user accounts from your SurveyMonkey team during access revocations.
Prerequisites
- Admin access to your SurveyMonkey team, so you can invite the integration account.
Setup
Add SurveyMonkey in AccessOwl
Either add a new application or open Applications and click the +-symbol, then continue.
Invite the integration account as Admin
AccessOwl shows you the integration account’s email address. In SurveyMonkey:
- Go to My Team and open Manage Users.
- Click + Add User.
- Select Email and enter the integration account’s email address.
- Assign the Admin role.
- Click Send Invitation.
The integration account needs the Admin role because only Admins and Primary Admins can invite users and manage team membership in SurveyMonkey Enterprise.

The user was provisioned but I can't see them in SurveyMonkey
When AccessOwl provisions a user, SurveyMonkey sends them an invitation email. The user appears in your team’s Manage Users list as a pending invite until they accept. If a provisioning request shows as completed in AccessOwl but the user is not yet visible as an active member, they have not accepted the invite yet.
