AccessOwl integrates with Dropbox to provision and deprovision user access in your Dropbox team.

AccessOwl creates user accounts with the specified roles/permissions during access requests.

Deprovisioning

AccessOwl deletes members from the Dropbox team during access revocations.

Prerequisites

  • Team admin or User management admin access to your Dropbox team, so you can invite the integration account.

Setup

Add Dropbox in AccessOwl

Either add a new application or open Applications and click the +-symbol, then continue.

Invite the integration account as User management admin

AccessOwl shows you the integration account’s email address. In Dropbox:
  • Go to dropbox.com and click Admin console in the left sidebar.
  • Click Members, then click Invite members.
  • Enter the integration account’s email address and click Next.
  • Click Next through the folder access step, review the billing confirmation, then click Invite.
Once the integration account accepts the invite, open its member profile and assign it the User management admin role.
Each invited member consumes one team license, including pending invites. The integration account will occupy a paid seat in your Dropbox plan.
