Provisioning

AccessOwl creates user accounts with the specified roles/permissions during access requests.

Deprovisioning

AccessOwl deactivates members from the Hex workspace during access revocations.

Prerequisites

  • Admin access to your Hex workspace, so you can invite the integration account.

Setup

Add Hex in AccessOwl

Either add a new application or open Applications and click the +-symbol, then continue.

Invite the integration account as Admin

AccessOwl shows you the integration account’s email address. In Hex:
  • Open your Hex workspace’s Settings, then go to Users.
  • Click + User.
  • Enter the integration account’s email address.
  • Set the role to Admin.
  • Click Add users.
Only Admins can add new workspace members and edit users’ workspace roles in Hex. The integration account needs the Admin role to provision and deprovision users on AccessOwl’s behalf.
