Capabilities
Provisioning
AccessOwl creates user accounts with the specified roles/permissions during access requests.
Deprovisioning
AccessOwl removes members from your MotherDuck organization during access revocations.
Prerequisites
- Admin access to your MotherDuck organization, so you can invite the integration account and make it an Admin.
Setup
1
Add MotherDuck in AccessOwl
Either add a new application or open Applications and click the +-symbol, then continue.
2
Invite the integration account and make it an Admin
AccessOwl shows you the integration account’s email address. In MotherDuck:
- Open Settings, then go to Members.
- Invite the integration account’s email address.
- Once the integration account accepts the invite, change its role to Admin.
MotherDuck adds every invited member as Explorer, so you can only make the integration account an Admin after it accepts the invite. It needs the Admin role because, by default, only Admins can invite and remove members and change their roles.
