Provisioning
AccessOwl creates user accounts with the specified roles/permissions during access requests.
Deprovisioning
AccessOwl removes members from the Dreamdata workspace during access revocations.
Prerequisites
- Admin access to your Dreamdata workspace, so you can invite the integration account.
Setup
Add Dreamdata in AccessOwl
Either add a new application or open Applications and click the +-symbol, then continue.
Invite the integration account as Admin
AccessOwl shows you the integration account’s email address. In Dreamdata:
- Click your name in the bottom left corner.
- Select User Management (Access Management).
- Go to the Users section.
- Click Invite Users, then select Invite by email.
- Enter the integration account’s email address.
- Set the role to Admin.
- Click Invite.
The integration account needs the Admin role because only Admins can invite new users and update user roles in Dreamdata. The Data Manager, Viewer, and Sales roles do not have user management capabilities.
