EverFi - AccessOwl

AccessOwl integrates with EverFi to provision and deprovision user access in your EverFi account.

Capabilities

AccessOwl creates user accounts with the specified roles/permissions during access requests.

AccessOwl deactivates users in your EverFi account during access revocations.

Primary Administrator access to your EverFi account, so you can invite the integration account.

Add EverFi in AccessOwl

Either add a new application or open Applications and click the +-symbol, then continue.

Invite the integration account as Primary Administrator

AccessOwl shows you the integration account’s email address. In EverFi’s admin portal (Foundry):

Go to Users → Manage Users.
In the top-right corner, select Add New User.
Select an admin user type and set the role to Primary Administrator.
Select Next and complete the profile using the integration account’s email address.
Select Send Invite to User.

The integration account needs Primary Administrator because it has to add, invite, manage, and deactivate users across your EverFi account.

What does deprovisioning do to a user in EverFi?

When AccessOwl deprovisions a user, it deactivates their EverFi account so they can no longer sign in. The user is deactivated, not deleted.
