Provisioning
AccessOwl creates user accounts with the specified roles/permissions during access requests.
Deprovisioning
AccessOwl removes users from the Fivetran account during access revocations.
Prerequisites
- Account Administrator access to your Fivetran account, so you can invite the integration account.
Setup
Add Fivetran in AccessOwl
Either add a new application or open Applications and click the +-symbol, then continue.
Invite the integration account as Account Administrator
AccessOwl shows you the integration account’s email address. In Fivetran:
- Go to Account Settings > Users & Permissions > Users.
- Click + Add User.
- Enter the integration account’s first name, last name, and email address.
- Set the account role to Account Administrator.
- Click Add User.
The integration account needs Account Administrator because only Account Administrators can invite new users, assign roles, and remove users. Without this role, the integration account cannot provision or deprovision users.

When AccessOwl provisions a user, Fivetran sends the new user an email to complete their account setup. The user must finish that signup flow before they can log in. If a provisioning request shows as completed in AccessOwl but the user cannot access Fivetran, ask them to check their inbox for the Fivetran invitation email.
