Provisioning
AccessOwl creates user accounts with the specified roles/permissions during access requests.
Deprovisioning
AccessOwl deletes users from MadKudu during access revocations.
Prerequisites
- Admin access to your MadKudu account, so you can invite the integration account.
Setup
Add MadKudu in AccessOwl
Either add a new application or open Applications and click the +-symbol, then continue.
Invite the integration account as Admin
AccessOwl shows you the integration account’s email address. In MadKudu:
- Go to Settings > Users.
- Click Add new user.
- Enter the integration account’s email address.
- Set the role to Admin.
- Click Invite users.
The integration account needs the Admin role because only Admins can add and delete users and change roles in MadKudu. Without Admin, the integration account cannot provision or deprovision users.

When AccessOwl provisions a user, MadKudu sends them an invitation email that they must accept before their account is active. The user will not appear as a full member until they have accepted the invite. If a provisioning request shows as completed in AccessOwl but the user is not yet visible, they have not accepted the invitation yet.
