Capabilities
Provisioning
AccessOwl creates user accounts with the specified roles/permissions during access requests.
Deprovisioning
AccessOwl removes members from the Uber for Business account during access revocations.
Prerequisites
- Administrator access to your Uber for Business account, so you can invite the integration account.
Setup
Add Uber for Business in AccessOwl
Either add a new application or open Applications and click the +-symbol, then continue.
Invite the integration account as Administrator
AccessOwl shows you the integration account’s email address. In Uber for Business:
- Sign in to business.uber.com.
- Go to Team and select People from the left menu.
- Click Add People.
- Enter the integration account’s email address.
- Enable administrative access for the account.
- Confirm to send the invitation.
The integration account needs the Administrator role because only Administrators can add and remove members, manage groups and programs, and update roles on the account. Lower roles such as Coordinator or Reviewer do not have member management permissions.
FAQ
The user was provisioned but I can't see them in Uber for Business
The user was provisioned but I can't see them in Uber for Business
When AccessOwl provisions a user, Uber for Business sends them an invitation email. The user must click the link in that email and link their Uber account before they appear as active on your business account. If a provisioning request shows as completed in AccessOwl but the user is not yet visible in Uber for Business, they haven’t accepted the invitation yet.
