Provisioning
AccessOwl creates user accounts with the specified roles/permissions during access requests.
Deprovisioning
AccessOwl removes users from your Lucid account during access revocations.
User Sync
AccessOwl periodically syncs a list of users along with their assigned roles/permissions.
Prerequisites
- Account admin access to your Lucid account, so you can invite the integration account.
Setup
Add Lucidchart in AccessOwl
Either add a new application or open Applications and click the +-symbol, then continue.
Invite the integration account as Account admin
AccessOwl shows you the integration account’s email address. In Lucid:
- Open the admin panel at lucid.app/admin.
- Select Users in the left-hand menu.
- Click Invite users.
- Enter the integration account’s email address.
- Assign the Account admin role.
- Click Send invitations.
The integration account needs Account admin because account admins can manage users, licenses, and account settings across all Lucid products. It does not need the Account owner role, which is reserved for billing control.

The user was provisioned but doesn't appear as active in Lucid
If the invited user already has a Lucid account under that email address, Lucid sends them an email invite and they must accept it before becoming an active member of your account. Users without an existing Lucid account are added automatically. Pending invites can be managed under Admin Panel > Users > Pending Invitations.
