AccessOwl deletes users from Microsoft Advertising during access revocations.

Prerequisites

  • Super Admin access to your Microsoft Advertising account, so you can invite the integration account.

Setup

Add Microsoft Advertising in AccessOwl

Either add a new application or open Applications and click the +-symbol, then continue.

Invite the integration account as Super Admin

AccessOwl shows you the integration account’s email address. In Microsoft Advertising, go to user management and invite the integration account:
  • Enter the integration account’s email address.
  • Set the role to Super Admin.
  • Send the invite.
The integration account needs the Super Admin role because only Super Admins can invite and delete users across all accounts.

FAQ

When AccessOwl provisions a user, Microsoft Advertising sends them an invitation email. The user must click the link in that email and complete sign-up before they appear as an active user in your account. Invitations expire after 30 days. If a provisioning request shows as completed in AccessOwl but the user is not yet visible, they have not accepted the invitation yet.
