Provisioning
AccessOwl creates user accounts with the specified roles/permissions during access requests.
Deprovisioning
AccessOwl removes members from the CleanShot team during access revocations.
Prerequisites
- Admin access to your CleanShot team, so you can invite the integration account.
Setup
Add CleanShot in AccessOwl
Either add a new application or open Applications and click the +-symbol, then continue.
Invite the integration account
AccessOwl shows you the integration account’s email address. In CleanShot:
- Open your CleanShot team settings in the License Manager at licenses.cleanshot.com.
- Navigate to the Members section.
- Invite a new member and enter the integration account’s email address.
- Assign the integration account the role that can add and remove team members.
- Send the invite.
The integration account needs a role with member management permissions so it can add users during access requests and remove them during access revocations. CleanShot sends the new member an email with an account configuration link to complete their setup.

The user was provisioned but I can't see them in CleanShot
When AccessOwl provisions a user, CleanShot sends them an email with an account configuration link. The user only appears as an active team member after they complete the account setup from that email. If a provisioning request shows as completed in AccessOwl but the user is not yet visible in your team, they have not finished setting up their account yet.
