Provisioning
AccessOwl creates user accounts with the specified roles/permissions during access requests.
Deprovisioning
AccessOwl removes members from the Whimsical workspace during access revocations.
Prerequisites
- Admin access to your Whimsical workspace, so you can invite the integration account.
Setup
Add Whimsical in AccessOwl
Either add a new application or open Applications and click the +-symbol, then continue.
Invite the integration account as Admin
AccessOwl shows you the integration account’s email address. In Whimsical:
- Click Invite people… under your workspace name in the top left.
- Enter the integration account’s email address.
- Send the invite.
- Once the integration account has joined, open Settings under your workspace name.
- Click the role dropdown next to the integration account and set it to Admin.
Invite the integration account as a Viewer (the default) and then promote it to Admin. Viewers are always free in Whimsical, so the integration account does not consume a paid Editor seat. Admins can add and remove workspace members and assign roles regardless of their Viewer or Editor base role.
