AccessOwl removes users from your Grafana Cloud organization during access revocations.

Prerequisites

  • Admin access in your Grafana Cloud organization, so you can invite the integration account.

Setup

Add Grafana in AccessOwl

Either add a new application or open Applications and click the +-symbol, then continue.

Invite the integration account as Admin

AccessOwl shows you the integration account’s email address. In the Grafana Cloud Portal:
  • Go to Org Settings in the left sidebar and select Members.
  • Click Invite New Member.
  • Enter the integration account’s email address and set the role to Admin.
  • Click Invite.
The integration account needs the Admin role because only Admins can manage organization members, which is required to invite and remove users on AccessOwl’s behalf.

FAQ

When AccessOwl invites a new user to your Grafana Cloud organization, the user receives an email invitation and must accept it before their access is active. If the invite expires before the user accepts it, you may need to resend the invitation from the Members page in the Grafana Cloud Portal.
