Provisioning
AccessOwl creates user accounts with the specified roles/permissions during access requests.
Deprovisioning
AccessOwl removes members from the OpenPhone workspace during access revocations.
Prerequisites
- Admin access to your OpenPhone workspace, so you can invite the integration account.
Setup
Add OpenPhone in AccessOwl
Either add a new application or open Applications and click the +-symbol, then continue.
Invite the integration account as Admin
AccessOwl shows you the integration account’s email address. In OpenPhone:
- Go to Settings > Members.
- Click Invite your team or Invite a member.
- Enter the integration account’s email address.
- Select Admin as the role.
- Click Send invitations.
The integration account needs the Admin role because only Admins and Owners can remove members and update member roles in OpenPhone. Without Admin, the integration account cannot provision or deprovision users.

The user was provisioned but I can't see them in OpenPhone
When AccessOwl provisions a user, the integration account sends them an invite email. The user only appears in your OpenPhone Members list after they accept that invite. If a provisioning request shows as completed in AccessOwl but the user is not yet visible in OpenPhone, they have not accepted the invite yet.
