Provisioning
AccessOwl creates user accounts with the specified roles/permissions during access requests.
Deprovisioning
AccessOwl removes members from the Google Tag Manager account during access revocations.
Prerequisites
- Admin access to your Google Tag Manager account, so you can invite the integration account.
Setup
Add Google Tag Manager in AccessOwl
Either add a new application or open Applications and click the +-symbol, then continue.
Grant the integration account Administrator access
AccessOwl shows you the integration account’s email address. In Google Tag Manager:
- Open your account and go to Admin > User Management.
- Click Add and select Add users.
- Enter the integration account’s email address.
- Set the account permission to Administrator.
- Click Invite.
The integration account needs Administrator access because only Administrators can add and remove users in Google Tag Manager. The User account permission does not include user management rights.
